COVID-19 lockdown: 60% drop in air pollution in Indian cities says Anumita Roychowdhury from CSE

Anumita Roychowdhury, head of air pollution and mobility at New Delhi based Centre for Science and Environment, talks about how the COVID-19 lockdown has affected the levels of air pollution in Indian cities. Air pollution levels have come down by 30-60 per cent, across many urban centres in India. What is interesting is that peak pollution during office hours have declined significantly.
