CSE and CPWD sign a MoU for capacity building and technical knowledge support for greening the built environment

Pleased to share that Habitat team has signed a MoU today with Central Public Works Department (CPWD). This tie-up is an extension of nearly a decade long engagement on capacity building and technical knowledge support for greening the built environment. The focus of this engagement is to equip CPWD officers on design, implementation and operations of buildings for thermal comfort, resource efficiency and circularity.

People present at the signing ceremony include Mr. Sandeep Mehta, Additional Director General (Trg.), Mr. Naveen Kumar Bansal, Chief Engineer (Trg.), Mr. Santosh Kumar, Superintending Engineer (Trg.) and Mr. Satyendra Kumar, Executive Engineer from CPWD. From CSE, Mr. Rajneesh Sareen, Programme Director and myself were present. The signing took place at the National CPWD Academy Ghaziabad.

CPWD has requested for a special course targeted at senior officers such as Additional Director Generals, Superintending Director Generals and Chief Engineers to train them on emerging practices and influence decision-making pan-India.
