CSE conducted a webinar for officers of CPWD on the topic of Building Design in various Climatic Zones of India

Participants were briefed on GHAR (Green Habitat Accompanied Rating) - CPWD green building guidelines 2019 and hands-on was provided to conduct audit protocols for passive design subsection which associates with thermal comfort and its respective compliance check for built spaces.

Participants were introduced with tools and methodologies as reported under CSE publication Optimizing the Third skin. Micro climate enhancement by integrating the hard and softscape, adaptive design and the role of orientation, shading, materials etc were stressed upon.

The webinar was attended by Shri Mahendra Pratap (Chief Architect T & R), Smt. Nirupma Chadha ( Senior Architect Training), Shri Dharmendra Kumar Gautam (Architect Training) and Shri Kamal Sindhu Patel (Dy Architect) among other participants from various regions of the country.
