Dear Student,

Greetings from CSE's Green Schools Programme! We are excited to announce the launch of GSP Audit@Home 2024 — the online survey to help you assess resource consumption at home! After the household surveys on energy and waste management, we have brought the audit back for all six sections: air, energy, food, land, water and waste.

WHAT IS GSP AUDIT@HOME?

In our interconnected world, understanding the impact of daily choices on the environment is crucial. GSP Audit@Home — an environmental audit for homes — helps you assess the environmental impact of your choices. It offers you the opportunity to enhance your household management of resources by evaluating consumption habits related to air, energy, food, land, water, and waste. By participating in this online survey, you can assess your practices and and adopt more sustainable ones.

The survey is free and open to students of Grades 5 to 12. It takes 5-7 days to observe the household practices and answer questions. It will give you accurate results if you complete the survey diligently, instead of rushing and submitting it in a day.

Upon completion of the activity, you will receive a personalised scorecard, providing detailed insights into the environmental sustainability of your practices and offering suggestions for improvement, along with a certificate of participation.

HOW TO TAKE THE SURVEY

Step 1: Go to www.greenschoolsprogramme.org to access the survey.

Step 2: Go through the questions of the survey.

Step 3: Observe the resource consumption patterns at your home

Step 4: Start recording observations in a notebook

Step 5: Take the survey and submit it
