The poster describes the heinous act of cleaning of containments by humans without any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is banned under ‘Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers & their Rehabilitation Act, 2013’. It gives the repercussions of this practice both on mental and physical health through casteism, untouchability, deaths. As a responsible citizen, it becomes our duty to stop this inhumane practice and promote the mechanized way of emptying of containments. The poster is distributed in ULBs to spread word to the locals about the different forms and aspects of this practice.
