Programme Officer for Environment Education Programme

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is looking for a Programme Officer for its Environment Education Programme.

CSE’s Environment Education programme is an established and vibrant initiative which engages with institutions, teachers and students at two levels – schools and universities/colleges – to enhance their understanding of key issues of environment and development, as well as provide them with resources and skills to tackle these issues as part of classroom teaching.

At the school level, the programme has been running the hugely successful Green Schools Programme or GSP across India, under which schools in the network undertake a rigorous environmental audit and are rated according to their performance. At the college level, the programme has developed a network which is a platform for faculty who teach EVS (Environmental Studies) to connect with each other and keep themselves abreast with the latest developments and knowledge in the field of environment.

The position is based at the CSE office in Delhi.
