RE Round Table 4 Energy Storage: Behind-the-Meter and Electric Vehicles

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites all interested stakeholders to its 4th Renewable Energy Online Round Table, on Energy Storage.

This Round Table will be expected to discuss the opportunities in deploying storage applications considering aspects of circular economy (recycling and disposal). Driven by falling costs and a growing consumer market, the deployment of small-scale battery storage systems is increasing in power systems across the world. The development of electric vehicles along with the deployment of distributed renewable energy generation and the development of smart grids are among key drivers.

CSE's renewable energy programme has been working extensively to help shape policies and build public awareness to accelerate renewable energy deployment, strengthen energy access for the poor, and facilitate creating opportunities for people for making best use of the technology.

This Round Table is a part of a series of nine stakeholder discussions planned by CSE in the period 2020-21. To see the proceedings of our earlier Round Tables, please visit www.cseindia.org
