State Level Workshop on Sewage and Septage Management

Date: 10th August, 2016  Venue: Conference Hall, Project Building, Dhurwa, Ranchi, Jharkhand The state level workshop aimed for sensitisation and knowledge enhancement of city officials on sewage and septage management was held dated August 10, 2016. Thematic focus of the workshop included:  Sustainable wastewater management systems at city and institutional levels

Regional Conclave cum Workshop on Excreta Management Mainstreaming SFD and Decentralised Wastewater Treatment in Urban Sanitation Programme

Date: June 28-29, 2016 Venue: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Regional Conclave on Excreta Management - Mainstreaming Sewage and Septage Flow Diagrams (SFDs) was conducted on June 28, 2016 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. CSE, Water Programme through this sensitization workshop aimed to develop SFD for their cities that are intended to use it as a planning tool to improve or prepare the City Sanitation plan, or to be able to have suitable interventions to improve sanitation situation. . 

International Capacity Building Workshop on "Make your own excreta flow diagram (Shit Flow Diagram-SFD)" at Kumasi, Ghana

Date:  July 14, 2016 Venue: Kumasi, Ghana Language: English Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in collaboration with other project partners  (GIZ, WEDC/Loughborough University, University of Leeds, Eawag/Sandec, World Bank and SuSanA) is organizing one day capacity building workshop on “Make your own excreta flow diagram (Shit Flow Diagram -SFD) during the WEDC conference from 11th to 15th July 2016.
