This course is open to civil engineers, architects, urban planners, environment consultants, NGOs, students and academicians with an interest in the theory, practice and policy of rainwater harvesting.
What will you learn:
The programme allows you to gain knowledge, acquire holistic perspectives on rainwater harvesting, preservation of waterbodies, water conservation, water audit and water efficient fixtures. The participants will get hands-on practice in planning and designing urban rainwater harvesting It will help you to solve real-life water problems of today and give you a unique chance to meet and interact with experts and professionals in the field of rainwater harvesting.
Participants will get a certificate at the end of the course.

Course fee
The course fee is Rs. 6600 per participant. NGOs and students can avail a discount of 50 per cent. Discounted seats are limited and offered on first come first serve basis.
A course on decentralised wastewater recycle and reuse will also be conducted back to back between September 13 - 15, 2012 (For details see here). If participants apply for both the courses then you can avail a discount of 25 per cent.
The combined course is available to you at a fee of Rs. 13,200. Participants applying for both the courses will get a discount of 25 per cent.
Fellowships Available for Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Maldives. The decision of the selection committee is final in this respect. For details on the fellowship please visit the following link:

I would recommend to all my technical officers working on rain water harvesting to attend this program as they would get different planning and designing ideas on the same.
