Training programme on 'Urban Rainwater Harvesting and Decentralised Wastewater Treatment' for Delhi Jal Board plumber / masons and fitters

CSE will be conducting two training programmes (targeting 30 participants each) tailor made for Delhi Jal Board’s plumbers / masons and fitters. The training aims to impart state of art – skills enhancement tools and techniques in the area of rainwater harvesting (RWH) and decentralized wastewater treatment (DWWT). The participants will have the opportunity to interact with practitioners, experts, real users and implementers to understand various stages of project i.e. – planning, designing with a special focus on operation and maintenance as well as troubleshooting in terms of frequently asked questions and answers. The training includes visit to successfully implemented projects.

The training objective is to develop a cadre of practitioners competent in operating and maintenance of RWH and DWWT systems required for scale up and mainstreaming of the best management practices for sustainable water management in NCT Delhi.
