World Environment Day: India's Environment in Numbers

The world has entered an era where the only certainty is uncertainty. This is why we must hold on to numbers, data -- it’s the only crutch that can help us understand trends, sift the true from the false, and build policies and practices that will deliver.

On the eve of the World Environment Day, we invite you to the online release of our annual statistical compendium on key environment and development issues that India faces – from extreme weather and the changing climate to agricultural distress and suicides, and from polluted rivers to migration, depopulation and internal displacement.
