NATIONAL CONCLAVE ON FOOD What’s on our plate?

March 15, 2019

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites journalists working in India who write or report on food and health to a day-long national conclave on food.

The conclave will focus on two broad themes: sustainable food production and regulated food promotion. Under these, it will touch upon topics ranging from pesticide management, organic farming and use of antibiotics in food to labelling, claims and advertisements of ultra-processed packaged foods (junk foods). The deliberations will also cover food-related policies in view of the crisis of antimicrobial resistance and non-communicable diseases.

CSE will support travel and accommodation for a few selected out-station mediapersons for this event. Interested journalists can apply here
