PARTICIPATION BY INVITATION ONLY

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India in collaboration with the Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Society Network, is organising a two-day meeting in Nairobi for experiencesharing on the national roadmaps for water-wastewater circularity.

The meeting is expected to bring together senior officials from relevant government departments, researchers, development partners and civil society organisations from CSE’s partner countries – Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Nigeria – in an effort to examine the range of solutions and plans developed by different countries for addressing their challenges of water scarcity and wastewater management.

Series of meetings, consultation workshops, training programmes and exposure visits have been carried out for their representatives for knowledge support, sharing of best practices, and promoting evidence-based and data-driven actions.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETING

  • A review of the journey of the partner countries towards sustainable water and wastewater management
  • Discussion on countryspecific challenges, solutions and key achievements
  • Understanding the lessons learnt and chalking out a way forward for other nations in Sub Saharan Africa
