The Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 outlines different procedures for clearances of projects that are above and below 40 Ha. This report presents findings on forest clearances for projects above 40Ha granted in the year 2015. All data from the report has been obtained from the MoEF&CC’s website on forest clearance (www.forestsclearance.nic.in).
