MUMBAI, Dec 23: Vaitarna, which provides drinking water to Mumbai, is among the most polluted rivers in Maharashtra. The only solace for Mumbaikars is that the BMC has one of the finest water treatment plants in the country. Residents of other towns are not so lucky.
