Illustrator for Young Environmentalist
Down To Earth (DTE), launched by the Centre for Science and Environment in 1992, has been the pioneer environmental magazine in India and continues to remain relevant even after 25 years. We get stories from the ground—research labs, hospitals, farms, forests, villages and even from other countries.
Young Environmentalist is an upcoming unit of Down To Earth, which will develop educational content related to environment and climate for children. The aim is to inspire our young readers with fun-filled contents along with colourful illustrations.
Qualification and Experience:
We are looking for an illustrator for the Young Environmentalist unit of Down To Earth. If you are comfortable illustrating/doodling for children and young adults, this position is for you. In addition, you must have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Power Point presentation and an easy hand on digital art i.e. drawing on Wacom tablet.
Candidates with background in science and experience of working in children's publication will be preferred.
