A 2024 World Bank report highlights a stark reality. Since 2022, more than 400 million children have faced school closures due to extreme weather events. The same report points out something equally important — young people want to take action on the climate crisis but often don’t have the knowledge or skills to do it well. Education can be a key driver of climate action, and the first step towards this shift must focus on empowering educators to become the ultimate climate leaders in the classroom.
CSE’s Green Schools Programme (GSP) invites school teachers to delve into the fundamentals of climate change and register for Batch 9 of its Online Course on Climate Change for school teachers (Grades 5 to 12). The ninth batch of the course follows after the successful completion of eight batches and four onsite Climate Convocations.
If you’re ready to turn climate awareness into real learning experiences for your students, register for the course using the link below and become a part of GSP’s community of climate leaders.
