CSE played a watchdog role for ECBC and ECBC-R.Several walling assemblies promoted by the Building Material And Technology Promotion Council were analysed for their thermal comfort, energy and environmental performance using the standards suggested in ECBC-R and National Building Code 2016. A series of roundtables conducted in Delhi and Telangana convened energy sector experts, architects, regulators, ECBC Dedicated Nodal Agencies (DNA), alternative material and technology providers and other professionals of the built environment to draw a roadmap for adoption of ECBC and ECBC-R and addressing thermal comfort in the building sector.
