Sensitization of ULBs on CSE-PSU's 'Repository of COVID-19 Resources' at RCUES workshop

CSE has participated in virtual workshop on 'COVID19 Guidelines for Safe Sanitation practices in cities' organized by Regional Centre for Urban & Environmental Studies (RCUES), Lucknow. The workshop was organised on 11th May, 20. The target audience were municipal functionaries of various Urban Local Bodies of Uttar Pradesh.

The prime objective of the workshop was to enlighten the officials of the ULBs about various guidelines and advisories issued by the government for safe sanitation practices. The workshop also briefed on safety measures required for the solid/liquid waste management and safety of workers associated with it.

During the workshop, Dr Rohilla from CSE has stressed upon the use of thermal scanners for the regular checkup of sanitary workers. Dr Rohilla also spoke on CSE's support to Bijnor by providing PPE kits to sanitation workers and how other ULBs can replicate the same. Dr Rohilla concluded by sharing the repository of Guidelines/Advisories, Best Management Practices and Communication Collaterals prepared by CSE

RCUES appreciated CSE for sharing their work experience, knowledge and resources and invited CSE for any future collaborative workshops/trainings.
