The session was also attended by The Campus development team who are already designing a similar treatment plant within The proposed campus.

She is guiding the development of an Institutional water (both clean and waste) management plan, and a solid waste management plan that will inform our University's Environment Policy currently under formulation.

She is also awaiting a response from the UN-Environment over a joint proposal with a Faith-Based Organization (FBO) that will enable us enhance solid waste management in collaboration with our county government (Kajiado County).

She will be incorporating elements from the training in her teaching and curriculum. For example, her courses on Environmental Pollution, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will use various examples explained during the course.

Organised "International Conference on Water Security Through Rainwater Harvesting" 27th-29th November, 2018,Colombo , Sri Lanka.

The objective of this conference was to provide a multidisciplinary platform for practitioners and professionals to discuss the innovations, trends, and concerns to enhance water security through rain water harvesting . The conference also provided an opportunity to network with international and national key players in rainwater harvesting. The conference included a field visit to best practices of urban rain water harvesting, film festival and a walk for rain water.

3 other alumna from this CSE training also presented their research findings at the conference.

After the training Programme , she started a research in a rural area in Sri Lanka where people face a huge difficulty to find safe drinking water, and to implement Rain water as a safe alternative drinking water source. This is a CKDu (chronic kidney disease of unknown etiology) hotspot in Sri Lanka where many people have died due to CKDu.
