LOST: The story of the disappearing rivers and lakes in our cities

The monsoons have retreated, but the waters haven’t; and neither have our memories of devastating urban floods, waterlogged streets, traffic chaos… One of the reasons for this havoc has been the state of our urban waterbodies. Our lakes, ponds and rivers, which used to be vital drainage channels for our cities, are today either encroached upon, or clogged with waste, and heavily polluted. Rivers like the Mithi in Mumbai or the Sahibi in Gurugram have virtually disappeared.

Join us in a webinar to explore these ‘lost’ waterbodies and discuss how to work towards their revival.
