“TRAINING of TRAINERS” Five days training programme on Faecal Sludge Management

The Pollution Monitoring Laboratory of Center for Science and Environment (CSE) is conducting a two phase training programme, TRAINING of TRAINERS (ToT) aimed at giving hands on exposure to the participants on Faecal Sludge Management. The first phase (Foundation) of training will be conducted from 10-14 July 2018 and the second phase (Advanced) of training will be conducted from 17-21 December 2018. The objective of this training is to capacitate key state and non-state actors in characterization of wastewater and faecal sludge; provide laboratory-based technical & documentation support to pilot/model projects that offer on-site & off-site demonstration of various technologies and develop technology options, testing protocols, monitoring and data validation procedures for wastewater treatment and faecal sludge management. 

COURSE HIGHLIGHT:

Capacity building on Faecal Sludge analysis through hands on training

• Sample Collection (Faecal sludge/ Septage/Waste water/ Treated water)
• Sample preservation and preparation
• Analysis of various parameters (Biological/ Chemical) based on sample
• Interpretation of results

COURSE DURATION: 10^th -14^th July 2018 (5 Days) 

TIMING: 9 a.m – 6 p.m           

COURSE VENUE: Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (Centre for Science and Environment initiative), Neemli (near Alwar), Tijara, Rajasthan. 

COURSE FEES: The course is not chargeable. Candidates have to arrange their travel up to Delhi and Delhi to their native places. Travel from Delhi to AAETI and AAETI to Delhi will be arranged by CSE. Each participant will be charged 5000 INR for food and single occupancy accommodation and 3500 INR for food and double occupancy accommodation per day.
