Leaping Forward to BS-VII: Mitigating Toxic Emissions, Short-Lived Climate Pollutants and Black Carbon

PARTICIPATION BY INVITATION ONLY.

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to its National Round Table and strategic regulatory dialogue to map out India’s next major movement towards vehicular emissions control.

Following India’s historic leapfrog from BS-IV directly to BS-VI, establishing a robust BS-VII framework is the next critical step to mitigate the public health and climate impacts of rapid motorisation. This discussion is expected to focus on capturing real world driving emissions (RDE), targeting particulate matter and black carbon, and bringing newer short-lived climate pollutants under regulatory oversight. It will also delve into the regulatory frameworks needed to drive the next generation of technology innovations.

We look forward to welcoming you to this dialogue.
