The Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (AAETI), an education and training initiative and innovation centre of CSE, began operations in 2017 to communicate the science, complexity and politics of environment across India, South Asia and the world. The Institute has been designed to look for and find appropriate and affordable solutions to some of the most pressing problems faced by the Global South - from climate change, air pollution and urban mobility to water and waste management and environmental degradation.

Named after CSE’s late founder-director Anil Agarwal, it seeks to build a constituency and cadre of knowledgeable, skilled and committed environmentalists – from among decision-makers, regulators, field-level practitioners, students, civil society groups, journalists, lawyers, and concerned citizens.

We have five well-equipped state-of-the-art conference rooms with varying seating capacities and designs to accommodate different conference formats

Our elegantly furnished, well-designed accommodation quarters are comfortable and equipped with wifi, cable television etc

The AAETI Canteen serves a range of delectable vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare in an extremely clean, comfortable and hygienic environment

The campus is spread over a vibrant and green 11 acre, in the foothills of the ancient Aravallis, and offers unmatched experiential learning in how to live in harmony with our environment

AAETI’s ‘green’ features have emerged out of the proverbial ‘trial by fire’ – CSE’s researchers and experts have meticulously researched on, ideated and developed a string of sustainability concepts and put them into practice here. The campus offers its guests and visitors an opportunity to witness and evaluate these concepts and practices at work in real time.

The Institute has five conference rooms of varying sizes, capable of accommodating 25 and 100 persons between them. While one of the conference rooms has a fixed seating design, the rest can be custom-managed

AAETI is a residential facility, and offers a variety of furnished and comfortable accommodation. The campus has a total of 96 rooms, including singles, doubles and studio apartments. All the rooms are well-ventilated and have attached washrooms with 24-hour water supply.
