Report Release: Missing from our Plates

Wetlands are celebrated for their role in sustaining biodiversity as well as for being rich fountainheads of nourishment for communities across India. A combination of factors – pollution, climate change, policy paralysis and neglect -- is threatening their existence. The traditional edible plant foods that they offer are now disappearing from our kitchens and menus.

We invite you to an online release of our latest report -- Missing from the Plate: Edible plants in wetlands lose favour – followed by a discussion on how can wetland ecosystems be restored and revived, and how can these ‘missing foods’ be brought back into our diets.
